The Pemamo process is closer to lapping than honing, and this machine uses a superabrasive (diamond or diamond like) plated tool that expands a micron at a time. You place your work-piece on the tool and this EH version automatically strokes it over the tool which in turn expands as the process runs until final size is achieved. It is exceedingly accurate and simplifies the honing process on long running jobs.
