Stock includes manual and automatic stroke hand-honing machines, Beamstrokers, Cylinder Kings, Horizontal & Vertical tube honers, from Delapena, Sunnen and Barnes. The Hot Hone Pump and Heating Unit is a powerful three-phase stand-alone piece of equipment that heats fluid up to engine operating temperatures. It then pumps the hot fluid to the honing machine where, using special torque plates, the fluid heats the engine block up to race temperatures. The cylinders can then be honed to size, round and parallel, whilst hot. Whilst the bores will return to an out of round condition at room temperatures, the process of hot honing is proven to give better piston-to-cylinder clearances at race temperatures, which in turn results lower friction and higher horsepower.
