Apperley Ranger 4 Stone tooling.
The tooling range covers 25-250mm diameter and is suitable for ‘push’ expansion automatic vertical and horizontal tube honing machines.
The consumables range concentrates on honing oils and abrasive stones. These stones are cut from block inhouse and can be supplied in any length up to 200mm. Orders for common grit size and grades are normally despatched within 48 hours.
With many years contract honing experience, Apperley knows that using clean honing oil in the machine shop is vital for applications that demand critical surface finishes. To achieve these constantly high standards Apperley use diatomaceous earth (known as pre-coat) filters which eliminate particles down to 3 microns in diameter. Suitable only for volume users, Apperley are pleased to offer these pre-coat filters to the market.
